Have you Ever Wondered if There is a Perfect Diet?

This is a question I get asked frequently. Often times I have friends or family members that ask me if I know what diet is the BEST to lose the most amount of pounds in the least amount of time.

Wouldn't this be a great deal? Obviously!! Buuut, what extreme measures do you have to take in order actually make this happen? Are these measures sustainable on the long run?

These are all questions you should ask yourself in order to verify if these popular diets are worth your time.

I know this is a very unpopular opinion due to the fact that is not a quick or easy fix, but you should focus on what works for YOU! What works for your friend, family member or neighbor doesn't necessarily have to work for you.

Everyone has a different goal, different lifestyle, likes/dislikes, body type, budget and finally genetics! That said, our diets and workouts are going to be different.


I know all of this information above sounds cliché and you have probably heard this before. But, instead of looking at it with a negative perspective, let's switch the mindset to focus on what's important for you and adapt everything to your own self.

Nutrition is not a one size fits all! That is something that you can internalize and know that programs that offer the same diet and workout routine to a large group of people are forgetting or missing the fact that we are all different and YES it will have a different result.

All I want to create with this blog post is awareness and understanding that sometimes we tend to take extreme measures that won't stick for the long run. One thing that really helps you when it comes to health goals is consistency, baby steps every day can make a HUGE difference. The trick here is finding what really works for YOU.
